Axl = Axolemm (Zellmembran des Axons); Axp = Axoplasma (Cytoplasma des Axons);
C1 = Cytoplasma Schwann'schen Scheidenzellen bei marklosen Nervenfasern;
C2 = Cytoplasma Schwann'schen Scheidenzellen bei markhaltigen Nervenfasern;
Lb = Lamina basalis (Basalmembran); Mae = äußeres Mesaxon, Einstülpung der
Zellmembran der Schwann'schen Scheidenzelle; Mif = Mikrofilamente (im Endoneurium);
Ms = Myelinscheide (Markscheide, gebildet aus vielen Wicklungen der Zellmembran der
Schwann'schen Scheidenzelle); Nf = Neurofilamente (gehören zu den Intermediärfilamenten);
Nt = Neurotubuli (etwas dicker, rundlicher Querschnitt = Mikrotubuli der Nervenzellfortsätze);
P = Plasmalemm (Zellmembran der Schwann'schen Scheidenzelle); V = Vesikel (enthalten Neurotransmitter).
